Meet the Team
Say hello to the friendly faces behind the fun!
Our nursery team is made up of a brilliant bunch of early years professionals who are passionate about helping little ones learn, laugh, and grow. Whether it’s leading a messy play session, comforting cuddles after nap time, or sparking curiosity during story corner, our staff are always ready with a smile.
Each team member brings their own flair — from creative crafts and catchy songs to expert knowledge in child development and learning through play. Everyone is fully trained, highly qualified, and, most importantly, genuinely loves what they do.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where children feel at home and parents feel supported. We work closely with families to make sure every child’s experience is as unique and joyful as they are.

Hello, my name is Stacie. I am level 3 qualified and Deal Nursery & Forest Schools Deputy Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). I will be based in the Wrens room and some days in the office.
I have been working in early years for 13 years and throughout my time and in previous settings, I have been fortunate enough to work my way up through various roles.
I absolutely love being creative with the children, ensuring they are enjoying their nursery experiences and being apart of their early childhood journeys! Tuff trays are my favourite and being outdoors!

Hello, I’m Kate!
With a background in both early years and primary education, I’ve worked as a practitioner, a teacher and a tutor, and now proudly step into my role as Deputy Manager at Deal Nursery and Forest School.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status and an NVQ Level 3 in Early Childhood and Education, and have a deep passion for creating nurturing, inspiring spaces where children can thrive.
I’ve always loved supporting children’s early development—especially helping them grow in confidence through phonics, storytelling, and creative play. Watching their curiosity and independence flourish is the most rewarding part of what I do. I’m thrilled to be part of this team and to work closely with families to give every child the best possible start.

Hello, I'm Nicola, Office Manager for Deal Nursery and Forest School, as well as our partner nursery, Pegwell Bay.
With over 20 years of administration experience, including 5 years in early years settings. I’m passionate about supporting children’s development behind the scenes.
My commitment is to maintain a welcoming and professional environment where parents are well-informed, supported, and assured of the quality of care provided.

Hello! I’m Anita, the SENCO at Deal Nursery and Forest School, as well as the Manager and Lead SENCO at Pegwell Bay Nursery.
I began my journey in childcare in 2014, starting as a 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs. That early experience sparked a deep passion for inclusive education and set the foundation for my career. Since then, I’ve worked my way through various roles in early years settings, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong commitment to supporting every child as an individual.
Today, I am proud to lead the SEN provision across both Deal Nursery & Forest School and Pegwell Bay, ensuring that children with additional needs are fully supported and included in all aspects of nursery life. I’m passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive environments where all children feel valued, confident, and empowered to reach their full potential.
I feel incredibly fortunate to do the work I love every day and to be part of such dedicated, caring teams.
