Our nursery is a calm and nurturing haven, inspired by nature, where every child’s journey begins with love, joy, and wonder. Designed with natural elements, soft tones, and wooden furniture, our space evokes a peaceful, home-like atmosphere. Lush greenery and earthy textures bring the outdoors in, creating a warm and soothing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and calm.
At the heart of our nursery is a team of caring, dedicated staff who radiate warmth, affection, and professionalism. Every child is cherished, respected, and celebrated as an individual. We put children first in everything we do, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and inspired each and every day.

DEAL NURSERY
& FOREST SCHOOL...
Is located just minutes from both Deal and Walmer within the grounds of Hornbeam Primary School.
Each of our rooms are home away from home, a happy place full of friends where your child can be themselves, making education fun through learning and discovery. The nursery prepares your child for life, helping to make them happy confident individuals.
Our nursery has specific, dedicated, highly qualified safe and secure spaces over three rooms for children aged 0 to 5 years to explore and develop in all areas of Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
A ‘Key Person’ system enables your child to gain confidence with a constant person and build a relationship with them. We also encourage staff and children to mix throughout the sessions to enable them to practice their social skills and gain social independence.

At Deal Nursery and Forest School, our principles are rooted in providing meaningful, effective education by recognising that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our dedicated staff support each child’s individual journey through the Development Matters framework within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring a balanced focus on physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
We believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and real-life experiences. Our setting combines nurturing indoor environments with the rich, sensory opportunities of our forest school, where children are encouraged to connect with nature, develop resilience, and build confidence through hands-on activities such as den building, tool use, and outdoor problem-solving.
